My six year old won't stop lying, what can ido?

Ooooohhh I hate a liar and I wouldn't want my kid to be one. Okay, so you could tell her/him that lying drives friends away and that lying could also get people killed. (Do you think it's too much if you tell her/him that? :/) Explain to her/him that sometimes people get REALLY mad at other people who lie and make them believe something that isn't true and they end up hurting them or doing really bad things to them. Tell her/him that if she/he doesn't want to get hurt, then she/he, should stop lying.
