Best cheap heat protectant hair products?

I straighten my hair pretty much every day! So now it is getting alot of spilt-ends and pretty rough and not as soft and silky as it used to be.. Do I need to switch out my straightener.? Let me know what cheap products you girls use that work great!!! :) pls&thnks
