Does this very shy guy like me or not? Points...?

So, we've been knowing each other for like, five years. And he's talked to me once. Five years ago before he developed the phobia of talking to me. He talks to every other girl perfectly fine but he'll do whatever he can to avoid me. Ugh! He could be all loud and talkative with his friends one moment, but as soon as I come around, bam! He's oh so quiet. Once when I was walking really fast, he smiled at me and I didn't realize until my friend told me. He always looks to the floor if we're in a group setting. He laughs at my jokes (because I joke around too much), he stares at me when he thinks I'm not looking, he's nice to my sister, has tried to sit next to me once (but then had to get up because my friend was sitting next to me first) and four different times (including Valentine's Day) he's looked like he wants to approach me. So, would you think he likes me? He's pretty shy. And yes, I like him.
