Is there a differenece between gaining strenth and gaining muscle mass if so how many reps and sets should ido?

I'm goin to tryout for wrestling next year and I wanna no is there a difference and if so how many reps and sets should I do for strenth because I'm also if boxing and also joining mma in november(I love combat sports) and I dont wanna be a buff,bulky fighter with a target on my face so how many reps and sets.....I'm 16, I weigh 150, and 6 feet tall, I'm working out at home and I can only do bench , curl, tricep curl, and squat
